Transcarpathian regional territorial office of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine punished the Voluntary Fire Society of Ukraine

Transcarpathian regional territorial office of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine imposed on the Transcarpathian regional specialized repair and construction fire suppression works company of the Voluntary Fire Society of Ukraine the 8,000 UAH fine for abuse of dominance.

As established by the Office, the enterprise applied to equivalent transactions different conditions for provision of services for inspection of technical condition of the flue and ventilation ducts in apartment buildings.

The company applied to consumers, who were in the same economic conditions, different terms of payment for work performed, thus giving preferences to certain entities over others. Namely, different terms of payment for the services, the presence or absence of penalties for failure to perform the ordered services.

The defendant pleaded guilty and pledged to cease the violation and to pay the fine to the state budget.
