“Tourists” from four African countries were detained by Chop border guards

Last weekend, Chop border guards arrested another illegal immigrants at the border with Slovakia and Hungary.

The "intruders", who were trying to illegally cross the Ukrainian-Slovak border, were detected in Perechyn district by border guards of the department "Novoselytsia." First, the border squad arrested two black males, and later, the task force arrested three more of their accomplices, including a woman. As is usual in such cases, the offenders had no IDs. According to the detainees, two of them were from Senegal, another two – from Guinea, and another one – from Côte d’Ivoire. The oldest one was 31 years old, the youngest one was 22 years old. All "travelers" were going to France.

Soon, they will be joined by another native of Africa, who was detained by border guards of the department "Chop" at the eponymous station. The fact is that the man was travelling to Hungary by the train "Moscow-Budapest" and tried to cross the border with the passport of a citizen of France, which belongs to another person. Later, the "pseudo-Frenchman" admitted that he was a native of Cameroon.

The offenders were delivered to border units to clarify the circumstances of the offense and to draft administrative and procedural documents, currently their identities are being established. Their further fate and responsibility under the law will be determined by the court.
