This year, the police have uncovered 10 murders

Within two months, 9294 reports on crimes have been registered, that is 25% more than that for the last year – the chief of the regional police Vasyl Vartsaba announced today, March 12, at the press conference. This growth, he said, is attributed to the new CPC that entered into force. Now any call is immediately recorded by special devices and is entered into
the unified database. Therefore, such thing as hiding a crime is impossible.
Vasyl Vartsaba said that 4125 cases had been solved. The crime rate is 33.1% per 10 thousand people. That is 11% less than that in Ukraine in general.
Six murders have been committed and all have been uncovered. Percentage of disclosure of all crimes is 82%. 123 crimes of the past years, including four murders, have been solved.
