This year, no bribe takers were found at the RSA

During the first quarter of 2014, in the region, 22 (in 2013 – 20) reports of administrative corruption offenses have been drawn up and forwarded to court, including five – by the regional prosecutor’s office, eight – by the Security Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region, nine – by the organized crime department of the MIA Office in Transcarpathian region.

Seven of the prosecuted persons are locally elected officials, including two – of the category 4, two are police officers, one is a customs officer. Fines have been imposed on four offenders in environmental protection sector, three – in education and land relations sector, two – in the public and social protection sector, one – in the energy sector.
No corruption offenses in the activities of employees of the RSA structural units were found in the first quarter 2014.

Functions of the implementation of measures to prevent and combat corruption in the regional state administration are entrusted to the department of interaction with law enforcement, prevention and detection of corruption and defense work, which has been headed for the fourth consecutive year by a member of the Party of Regions Vasyl Makovsky.
