The police promised to solve the arson of Shchadey’s car very soon

This was announced today, June 12, by the head of Transcarpathian police Serhiy Sharanych.

According to law enforcement officers, there is a progress in the case, but currently the publicity could prejudice the investigation, and it is about to come to an end.

"A number of search operations are being conducted, there are already some developments, and I think, if everything goes as planned, in the near future we will have a good news that the crime is uncovered," – Serhiy Sharanych said.

Recall that on May 14, unknown persons burnt the car of the Acting Mayor of Uzhgorod Victor Shchadey. Later, Shchadey linked the arson of his car with his professional activities.
