“The poet without the Empire” – Korotash – visited Uzhgorod

"The Poet without the Empire" is the last book of poetry by Oleg Korotash, with which he has visited more than thirty cities in Ukraine. Yesterday the poet visited Uzhgorod: he had the meeting with students of the Institute of Foreign Languages of ​​UzhNU and journalists.

Although he came to present the collection, students did not want to listen about the history of the book. Probably because Korotash first read a few poems. It was impossible to stop: the young people completely immersed themselves in the world of wisdom, of "the poet without the empire" Oleg Korotash, and requested to continue reading poetry.

At the meeting with journalists Korotash "realized his mistake", so at first he told about himself, his work and "The Poet without the Empire" … and again read his poems …. And again they captivated everyone.

Thematically the poetry of Korotash is very colorful. The works are related by the content. In the words of the writer Mykhalo Roshko, "The poetry of Oleg Korotash has no empty and beautiful phrases. Each word has a deeper meaning. He talks about things in hir own unique way."
