The parliament does not know when they will take mandate from Lunchenko (document)

The Committee on Rules, Ethics and Support for Work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dooes not know when they are planning to deprive the deputy of Ukraine, who simultaneously works as the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Valeriy Lunchenko of the parliamentary mandate – such was the response from the parliament to the information request of a correspondent of uzhgorod.in.

Recall that Valeriy Lunchenko for over 5 months has been working on two posts – the "Governor" and an MP, which is prohibited by the Constitution. On April 24, at the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, only 182 of his colleagues supported the dismissal of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Valeriy Lunchenko.

Also, the Parliament informed that the next plenary sessions are to be held from 12 to 15 of August, although it is unknown whether Lunchenko’s statement for resignation will be considered at the meetings – the agendas have not been published yet.
