The National Park “Synevyr” now has the biggest partner in the Czech Republic (PHOTOS)

The National Park "Synevyr" signed a cooperation agreement with the National Park Krkonoše – the largest park of the Czech Republic

The director of the National Park "Synevyr" Mykola Derbak and the director of the National Park "Krkonoše" Jan Hrebachka recently signed a cooperation agreement between the two environmental organizations. The agreement was signed at the office of the Czech park in the city of Vrchlabí with the participation of the directors and representatives of the Krkonoše National Park, the head of the Mizhhirya District State Administration Andriy Sheketa, the head of the village of Kolochava Vasyl Hudynets, the director of the I. Olbracht museum in Kolochava Natalia Tumarets.

The purpose of the agreement is the cooperation in the field of nature conservation, the implementation of various projects, programs, exchange of experiences, the development of eco-tourism. 

Under the agreement, the partners will cooperate in the following areas: biodiversity monitoring, communicating with visitors for the purpose of environmental education, promotion of eco-tourism, management of forest ecosystems, management of natural ecosystems and others.

The National Park "Krkonoše" (Czech Republic) is the mountain range area in the north of the Czech Republic and the south-west of Poland. The park was created in 1963, it has an area of ​​550 square kilometers. The main ridge of mountains stretches from east to west and forms the border between Poland and the Czech Republic. The tops are flat, and the bottom of the slopes are covered with pine and beech forests, and above – with fir and spruce forests.

The Krkonoše National Park chairs in the Association of European parks (EUROPARC Federation), and thus, the signed agreement will give the National Park "Synevyr" an opportunity to participate in the projects of the organization.
