On Wednesday, March 27, at the Regional State Administration the head of the region Oleksandr Ledyda and acting chairman of the regional council Volodymyr Zakureny awarded laureates with prizes in various fields of art.
On the International Day of Theater, Transcarpathian artists received honorary awards for achievements in various fields of art.
Thus, based on the results of 2012, the Regional Prize in Literature and Arts named afterFedir Potushnyak was awarded to Dmytro Keshelya, Vasyl Kuzan, Tetyana Likhtey, Petro Hodanych.
The Prize in Music Arts named after Desideriy Zador was awarded to Nataliya Petiy-Potapchuk, Mykhailo Vyhulya, Roman Medentsya, Etella Kotyuk (Chupryk), Taras Baran, Symphony Orchestra of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic.
The Regional Prize in Performing Arts named after Sherehiys brothers was awarded to the directing group of Transcarpathian Regional Academic Puppet Theatre (namely, Oleg Zhyuhzhda and Tetyana Ulynets), Victor Dobryak, Olena Pyshka, Vasyl Andriyets.
The Prize named after J. Bokshay and A. Erdelyi for achievements in the fine and applied arts was awarded to Ivan Shutyev, Volodymyr Pavlyshyn, Svitlana Kurtan, Ivan Didyk, Vayl Olashyn, Vasyl Biley, Yaroslav Boretsky, Ivan Nebesnyk, Mykhailo Syrokhman.
Also, the regional prize was awarded posthumously to the artist and art critic Pavlo Balla.
