The EU promised not to postpone the signing of the Association

In the evening of June 11, the EU Delegation to Ukraine issued a statement which denied the rumors about a possible postponement of the signing of the Association Agreement with Ukraine.

"The Association Agreement EU-Ukraine will be signed no later than June 27, together with with similar agreements (of the EU) with Georgia and Moldova," – the statement says, – the Yevropeiska Pravda reported.

As YevroPravda reported, earlier, the reputable Brussels edition EUObsever wrote that the ceremony of signing of the AA with Ukraine may be delayed. The reason was a judgment on the agreement between the EU and the Philippines. By analogy, it was planned to extend the judgement to the Ukrainian document.

Later, the source of the Yevropeiska Pravda in Brussels admitted that Ukrainian document indeed needed to be adjusted, but he said that the work would be completed by June 27 and the signing would not be postponed.
