The creative contest “My native land” in Transcarpathia continues

Its organizers are the Vysocina region of the Czech Republic, the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the RSA and the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth "PADIYUN." On Thursday, the works submitted for the contest were reviewed by the Czech delegation visiting Transcarpathia.

The contest is held among students under 7 -10 years – members of school and after-school educational institution clubs in 16 cities and districts of the region. In general, over two thousand children took part in the contest. 160 works – winners of city and district round of the competition – were presented at the regional exhibition.  Among them, there are students of Uzhgorod school №3, Vynogradiv school №8, Svalyava school №1, Rodnykiv eductional complex in Svalyava district, Lazeshchyna and Strymba schools in Rakhiv district and several others where joint investment projects have been implemented.

It was held in two stages – in May and June – at the districts (cities) level, and in August-September – at the regional level. Following the district (city) stage of the contest, 10 of the best works were selected for the regional stage – an exhibition that is held in the foyer on the second floor of the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity "Padiyun." It was already seen by the participants of the August regional conference for teachers and educators, held with the participation of the regional authorities. The exhibition will be on display from September to October.

It is proposed to hold the ceremony of the conclision the regional contest stage in October with the participation of the Hetman of Vysocina Jiri Byehounek and the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Ivan Baloha during the visit of the delegation from Vysocina region to Transcarpathia.
