The Advisory Council to the prosecutor’s office began working

In order to ensure transparency and openness, and to establish effective relationships with civil society, a collegial advisory body – the Advisory Board – has been formed at the prosecutor’s office. The relevant provision was approved by the Order of the regional prosecutor Oleg Sydorchuk.

The Advisory Council consists of 7 people. Among them, there are representatives of local authorities, NGOs, human rights, trade union organizations and the media.

"The functioning of the advisory body will increase the effectiveness of prosecutors in carrying out tasks defined by the Law on establishment of the rule of law, protection of citizens and the state from illegal encroachments and will facilitate a dialogue between citizens and prosecutors, a joint discussion of problems in the region in order to find solutions" – the prosecutor of the region Oleg Sydorchuk summed up.
