Street lamps are on again during the day in Uzhgorod

The picture of the lamp on Petofi Square, which "never sleeps" was posted in FB by the Uzhgorod resident, photographer Victor Dyomin.

As uzhgorod.in previously reported, some important changes regarding street lighting took place in the city – the "Uzh-svitlo" company was liquidated. Furthermore, the city government expects "investments" from Kyiv.

This was preceded by tangible problems – both with traffic lights and street lamps. So hopefully it is temporary difficulties caused by changes in the "rules of the game" and Uzhgorod will really "shine in a new way."

Especially given that Uzhgorod residents have long dreamt of seeing, for example, Nezalezhnist embankment well lit and suitable for evening walks.
