Rise in water levels on rivers of western Ukraine is expected

In western Ukraine, due to expected heavy rainfall, there may be rises in river water levels. This was reported by the Hydrometeorology center to the UNN.

"Due to expected heavy rainfall, on August 25, the water level rises are expected in basins of the Syan, the Dniester, the Prut and the Siret river by 0.3-1.0 m – the rivers of Transcarpathia by 0.5-1.5 m. During heavy rains, significant local and overland flow may be formed," – the statement reads.
