The festival of riplyanka took place in the open-air museum "Old Village" in Kolochava for the second time. This year it had a little different name – "The charity festival of riplyanka in Kolochava to support Ukrainian army", the "Novyny Zakarpattya" informed.
Here’s how the head of Mizhhirya district administration Andriy Sheketa described his impressions on his page in "Facebook": "I am now in Kolochava, in the open-air museum "Old Village", at the festival of riplyanka, organized by Stanislav Arzhevitin. It is a charity festival, and all funds raised will be donated to the needs of the Ukrainian army. At the entrance, visitors were welcomed by Ivan Olbracht and Edmund Egan, and in the village you can see UPA soldiers, Red Army soldiers, sheep farmers, Jew inn-keeper Hershko, and others. And here, by the way, is Putin. He is walking behind the fence, and no one lets him in here. Now, we are on the museum tour, then we will make a trip by the narrow gauge and eat riplyanka."
Riplyanka, by the way, was cooked with mushrooms, sour cream, bacon, cheese, and other seasonings. And afterwards, they determined the winners of the culinary part of the festival.
During the festival, another museum was opened – "The Cinema Bookshop", where there was a meeting with Kolochava booksellers – clerk Ivan Luhosh (1747), Ivan Olbracht (1933) and Stanislav Arzhevitin (2014). Also, today everyone could ride the "Kolochava narrow gauge" from the station of "Chertezhyk" to the station of "Shuhay" on a trolley, in the office car, ambulance car, and in the locomotive, and cross the Kolochava river in a cradle-trough.
