Poroshenko: Hungary is Ukraine’s advocate in the international arena

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko considers Hungary as Ukraine’s advocate in the international arena.

"We see Hungary as Ukraine’s advocate in the international community" – Poroshenko said during the meeting with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban on Saturday in Kyiv, the Interfax-Ukraine reported.

According to Poroshenko, Hungary is "very important neighbor" and its support and solidarity is very important for Ukraine. Poroshenko called for regional cooperation between Ukraine and Hungary.

In turn, Orban said that despite the difficult times, the situation in Ukraine would be stabilized. "Now Ukraine has the leader with great international support", – the prime minister of Hungary said.

He stressed that "together we can stabilize the situation."
