At the session of the regional council, absent deputies’ voting cards were disabled.

The Regional Council Chairman Ivan Baloha read the names of the members who have not appeared at the sessional meeting and asked to disable their cards.

The Party of Regions deputy Petro Hrytsyk said that he agreed with this proposal, but it was not legal, because it is not provided in the regulations of the regional council.

However, Ivan Baloha noted that in the regulations it is stated that each member shall vote personally and stressed out that the issue of personal voting of each deputy is controlled very strictly at the state level, and Transcarpathian deputies must be accountable for their actions.
