“Krayina Mriy” from the Transcarpathian wine-maker Oleg Skrypka was presented in Kyiv with the wines from Pierre Richard and Sting (PHOTOS)

The well-known Ukrainian musician Oleg Skrypka with the help of Chateau Chizay created his trademark wine.

Visitors of one of the leading restaurants in Kyiv were the first in Ukraine to taste the dry wines – white Traminer and Rose Pinot Noir – at the event "Autumn. Wine. Music…"

This is the first Ukrainian wine from the "star". The visitors of the presentation had a unique opportunity to compare Oleg Skrypka’s wines with the trademark wines of Pierre Richard and Sting. The participants noted the refinement of the delicate wines "Krayina Mriy". They also follow the world trends in wine making: Traminer is a local variety that gives the wine its nobility, while the elegant Rose is very popular among amateurs and connoisseurs.

The restaurant and showman Mykola Tyshchenko, along with Oleg Skrypka, sold the first and second bottles of the trademark wine at the charity auction. The first bottle was sold for 20,000 hryvnias, the second one – for 7,000 hryvnias. This money will be sent to the OKHMATDYT clinic for the treatment of children.

Chateau Chizay is proud to be a part of the exclusive wine history and that Ukraine now has wines worthy of attention, and also that these wines are made in Transcarpathia.
