On Wednesday, March 6, at the meeting of the Public Council of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, they reported on the results of the 2 years activity of the body and reelected members of the Council.
The Public Council at the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration was formed two years ago to implement the order of the Cabinet of Ministers "On public participation in the formulation and implementation of public policy." Then the Council included representatives of 90 non-governmental organizations. Fedir Kharuta was elected the Chairman of the Public Council.
– The two years work of the Public Council can be described as successful and effective – Fedir Kharuta addressed the audience during the meeting. – We have held public examinations at a high level, formed industry committees, been working closely with line departments of the regional state administration. The result of this work is the recognition of the regional Council as one of the best in Ukraine.
The Deputy Head Igor Svyshcho also stressed the importance of the Council:
– You are the link between the community and government representatives. Thanks to your vigilance, hard work, expertise, we can clearly see what Transcarpathians are concerned about now.
During the meeting they elected new members of the Public Council – it is composed of 120 organizations. Fedir Kharuta was again elected as the Chairman of the Council.
