Jeans for world brands are made in Transcarpathia

The Stumpp couple from Germany have been living in Uzhgorod for 9 years.

Their firm "Texwash Gonser Ukraine" sews jeans for well-known world brands. Last week they invited the Acting Mayor Victor Shchadey to visit them. 

 According to entrepreneurs, nowadays a lot of their fellows are interested in investments in Ukraine, especially since, due to the association with the EU, the customs barriers will be removed. The only thing that stops them is the military conflict in the East. Also entrepreneurs were interested in the situation with gas supplies for the company in winter. 

Victor Shchadey expressed hope that the ATO would soon come to an end and investors would be able to actively strart new productions in our region, and the local authorities would make every effort to assist them as much as possible – the press-service of Uzhgorod City Council informed.
