On the occasion of the anniversary of the Carpathian Ukraine, the Transcarpathian Museum opened a temporary exhibition devoted to Augustin Voloshin, which was initiated by the Senior Fellow of the A. Voloshin museum Ivan Oros.
The exhibition (actually – photos on architecture associated with the head of Carpatho-Ukraine) is being held along with the permanent exhibition dedicated to the only president of our region.
The correspondent of uzhgorod.in visited the exhibition and, unfortunately, must admit that the exhibition did not arouse any interest that can be evidenced by the photographs. Meanwhile, the exhibition may be of some interest to those interested in this period of the history of the region.
Lack of interest was also confirmed by an employee of the museum, who noted that on the day of the commemoration of the Carpatho-Ukraine no one attended the exhibition. However, she says, it would be unfair to say that the regular exhibition dedicated to Augustine Voloshin does not arouse interest among the visitors of the Uzhgorod Castle.
Finally, we did meet the visitors. The exhibition was attended by the students of Uzhgorod Theological Academy.
