We have already mentioned that some repairers, and in fact vandals, began working in the house at the beginning of Voloshin street.

Concerned Uzhgorod residents tried to prevent the replacement of old authentic woodwork with a new standard plastic (which was being done contrary to the law and, of course, without any approvals). They even called the police and appealed to the municipal police. However, in the afternoon the work was resumed, and very actively.

Why is the police, which received the report of vandalism, and municipal police doing nothing?

The house at Voloshin, 1 is one of the gems of the city’s architecture. Or should we say, was?  Because it has lost part of its authenticity…
