Yesterday, a resident of the village of Pidpolozzya in Volovets ditrict reported to rescuers that around 11.20, on the Latorica river, near her house, she had found an object similar to a mortar shell of the Second World War period, and then brought it to the summer kitchen of her mother’s house.
Law enforcement officers evacuated two residents of the house and deployed guards. Rescuers disposed of the shell.
