On Friday, the deputy chief of security of the pipeline "Druzhba" reported to Uzhgorod District Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that servicing employees of the oil pipeline "Druzhba", owned by the "UkrTransNafta" Public Joint Stock Company, in the field at a distance of 2 kilometers from the village of Velyki Heyevtsi, at a depth of about one meter in the ground, detected an unauthorized tie-in in the pipeline, namely a metal branch welded to the trunk pipe, which was connected to a metallic ball valve, with a rubber hose going towards the village.
No oil leaks and threats of environmental pollution were detected.
