On Friday, at 17.00, between settlements of Luh and Dilove in Rakhiv District, the driver of a shuttle bus "CETPA-C215" Tyachiv-Kyiv, while pefoming overtaking maneuver, drove into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a car "Opel Ascona".
As a result of the accident, the car driver died on the spot from his injuries, and two passengers suffered contusion of chest, tear-contused wounds, bone fractures. They were hospitalized in the casualty department of Rakhiv District Hospital.
The driver and passengers of the public bus (25 people) were not injured.
The bus driver was arrested and put in a temporary holding facility of Rakhiv District Police.
Both vehicles were taken to Rakhiv District Police impound lot.
