In Irshava deputies eliminated the Administration (DOCUMENT)

Yesterday, deputies of Irshava District Council, by their decision took away the powers from the district administration. The conflict between the administration and the council began in June. Deputies expressed dissatisfaction with the dismissal of the Director of Dovhe forestry, their colleague Ivan Ledney. 

In June, two-thirds of the deputies passed a no confidence motion against the head of the District State Administration, a member of the Svoboda Vasyl Svichkar.  Yesterday, in the hall of Dovhe Forestry, there was a visiting session of Irshava district council. The reason for convening an extraordinary session was the appointment of Mykhailo Nytka as the forestry director. The candidacy was approved by the head of Irshava District State Administration. And this fact outraged the deputies. The deputies send the Presidential Administration the decision of no confidence in the head of the district administration. At the same time, the deputies decided to revoke the powers of the District Council delegated to Irshava District State Administration in accordance with Article 44 of the Law of Ukraine "On Local Self-Government in Ukraine".

It was also decided by August 27 to hold the session of the district council and to form the executive committee, departments of the district council, to approve their membership, to arrange for opening of accounts of general and special funds of the district council and accordingly to close the above mentioned accounts of the district administration in the office of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine in Irshava district.
