From now on, every Ukrainian can complain about corruption that he or she has faced, and mark it on the corruption map of Ukraine. If the situation is extremely egregious, it may become the subject of investigative journalism and gain publicity. This becomes possible due to the Internet corruption monitoring project, CorruptUA, which has been launched in Ukraine. The project was initiated by the International public organization "Internews Ukraine" supported by the Royal Netherlands Embassy.
The website of the project – www.corruptua.org – contains a special map of corruption in Ukraine. Through the interactive map, you can find out about documented cases of corruption in each region of the country. Any active citizen may be a site contributor. On the site, there is a clearly laid classification of corruption, and the characteristics of each violation are described.
