During a month, the arrears of wages at enterprises of Transcarpathia have been reduced

Serbaylo: during one month, the arrears of wages at enterprises in Transcarpathia have been reduced by 18%

The payment of arrears in wages, pensions, scholarships and other benefits and tax debt was discussed at a conference chaired by the first deputy head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Andriy Serbaylo with representatives of the Department of Social Welfare, the Prosecutor’s Office, the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region, the Main Office of the State Pension Fund of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region, heads of district state administration and city executive councils.

As noted above, as of August 18 this year, the arrears of wages at enterprises, organizations, institutions of Transcarpathian region amount to 4,257,900 UAH. Compared to July 1, it decreased by 929,000 UAH, or 17.9%.

Wage arrears are completely absent in 7 administrative and territorial units of the region, particularly in the city of Chop, the city of Beregovo, Irshava, Mizhhirya, Perechyn, Svalyava, Khust districts. 

Arrears of wages at bankrupt enterprises amount to 1,095,600 UAH. Compared to July 1, 2014, they increased by 1.2%.

At the end of the conference call, Andriy Serbaylo instructed the heads of district state administration and city executive councils to prepare appropriate letters to the RSA on organizational measures taken to settle salary arrears for each debtor in the region.
