On Saturday, October 12, the sport competition among medical workers of the region took place at Uzhgorod Stadium "Avangard".The head of the region Oleksandr Ledyda, his deputy Ivan Kachur, the chief medical officer of the region Roman Shnitser came to greet the participants.
Traditionally, the competition began with the mini-football match between teams of the regional administration and medical workers of the region. In the first half, the captain of the RSA team Ivan Kachur opened the score, but before the break, the doctors also managed to score a goal. However, in the second half, the team of the regional administration staff played better – and they won 3-1.
Overall, over a thousand physicians from all over the region, representing 42 teams, participate today in the competition. They will compete in mini-football, volleyball, swimming, chess, shooting, billiards and other sports – the press center of the RSA reported.
