Cash registers will be installed in buses

The Ministry of Infrastructure proposes to install cash registers in buses and taxis.

This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure Maxim Burbak, the Ekonomichna Pravda with reference to the press service of the Ministry reported.

"There should be no division into legal and illegal. Therefore, it was decided to install cash register to print fiscal receipts in buses, so that there would be no illegal transportation" – the Minister said.

According to Burbak, with the introduction of cash registers and the system of admission to work in the transportation market, other issues, raised by the carriers, will also disappear – restrictions on inter-regional trips will be lifted, and tenders for the right to carry them out will be canceled.

As noted, other problems of domestic automobile passenger transportation are being considered by the working group, consisting of the experts Ministry of Infrastructure, Ukrtransinspectorate, MPs and representatives of carriers.
