According to the Transcarpathian Center for Hydrometeorology, on March 21 avalanche hazard remains, even at little extra load, on steep slopes (over 30 deg) and on southern and south-eastern slopes – due to daytime warming.
On the night of 21 to 22 and during 22 of March significant precipitation in the form of sleet and snow, in the mountains – blizzards are expected in the region.
March 22-23 in the mountainous areas of Transcarpathia avalanche hazard is announced.
