Antimonopoly Committee denounced participants in the tender conspiracy in Tyachiv district

Lviv Commercial Court of Appeal confirmed the legitimacy of the decision of the Transcarpathian regional territorial office of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, which imposed a fine in the amount of 108,000 UAH on the companies "Favoryt-Bud-M" and "Mendoza"

As previously reported, in May 2012, Transcarpathian regional territorial office of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine fined companies "Favoryt-Bud-M" and "Mendoza" for anticompetitive concerted actions concerning the distortion of the results of bidding. Ignoring the principle of "fair competition" the companies agreed their bids during Tyachiv district administration’s procurement of works for the construction of the building № 2 of the children’s school in the village of Chumalovo in Tyachiv district held in 2011, and as a result, one of the participants signed a contract with the client on non-competitive basis.

Currently, the state executive service take measures to enforce the recovery of penalty in favor of the state budget.
