A horrible accident on the pass: two people were killed, another two were injured… (Photo)

Two people died and two were injured as a result of a triple accident on the pass  

June 14th, around three o’clock in the morning, an accident happened on the 722nd km of Kyiv-Chop highway (descent from the Abransky pass).

 The driver of a heavy vehicle DAF, moving from Lviv towards Uzhgorod, on the downhill side of the road lost control (previously due to failure of brakes), drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a car "Mercedes Sprinter". After the collision, the DAF capsized hitting a heavy truck "Volvo".

As a result of the accident, two female passengers of the Mercedes, residents of Ivano-Frankivsk region, died on the spot.The drivers of the Mercedes and the DAF were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.  

Detailed causes of the traffic accident are being established by law enforcement officers.
