A fraudster cheated a Transcarpathian of more than 16,000 UAH

The offender called the victim on a mobile phone under the guise of buyer of the goods that she had put up for sale on the Internet.

Recently, a 50-year-old resident of Irshava filed a complaint with Irshava district police. The woman told about the trouble, which she had found herself in through her own credulity.

The day before she had put up a hot dog cart for sale in the Internet. Later, an unknown person called her and said that he was buying the cart. However, she had to tell the number of her credit card account to have the money transferred. Of course, the woman was glad and provided the swindler all the necessary data for payment transaction… As a result, the funds in the amount of 16,670 UAH were withdrawn from her bank card.

Realizing that she had been cheated, the victim appealed to the police. This incident is registered in the Unified register, and classiified under Part 1 of Art.190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (fraud). The offender is wanted.

Defenders demobilized in spring will be candidates for territorial defense units

In spring, some of the young men, who have been serving in the armed forces for a year, will be demobilized and will become the first candidates for territorial defense units.

This was announced at the briefing by the head of the regional military commissariat Ivan Vasyltsyun.

“Now, we are forming territorial defense units in the region. And those young men will be the first candidates for these units, as they have experience. They will be formed in each district for protection of ​​strategic objects. And they can be promptly engaged in case of introduction of martial law” – the military commissar Ivan Vasyltsyun said.

Recall that at the briefing Ivan Vasyltsyun also said that the mobilization plan in Transcarpathia had been fulfilled at 20%, and that there is no restrictions for men to travel abroad.

The Military Commissar of the region said that the Regional Commissariat does not issue any certificates for men to travel abroad.

“I want to stress that there are no restrictions on traveling abroad for men aged 20 to 60 years. We do not issue any certificates, and have no right to issue them. We have not received any orders on this matter. The decree of the President clearly states – the Cabinet shall submit amendments to legislation restricting travel of persons subject to military service. We do not and will not do any illegal actions” – Ivan Vasyltsyun assured.

This was announced by the regional military commissar Ivan Vasyltsyun at the briefing in the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.

Since only 9 days were provided for notification of persons subject to military service, not all persons, who have received calls, had time to undergo medical examination. “The second factor inherent in Transcarpathia is that 75% of people subject to military service are working abroad. Not just because of mobilization, but because there is a demand in the labor market in Europe, and every year in January, a lot of Transcarpathians leave to work there” – Ivan Vasyltsyun said.

As of February 3, 1400 calls have been served in the region, one thousand young men repored to military commissariats. The mobilization plan has been fulfilled at 20%. The leaders are the city of Mukachevo and Mukachevo district – 28%. Mountain districts have fulfilled the plan at only 15-17%.

66 Transcarpathians, including 4 women doctors, have come to the military commissariats as volunteers. 14 volunteers have already been dispatched to the army. 178 people have been sent to training centers for contract service.

600 people have undergone military medical examination, 300 people have been found fit, 100 – unfit, the rest were sent for further medical examination. Materials for 1861 persons subject to military service have been submitted to the police for search.

9 criminal proceedings for failing to report after receiving calls have been instituted. 6 village heads have been brought to administrative liability for failure to perform the mobilization plan.

Border guards do not require certificates from military commissariats for border crossing

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that the information disseminated in the media that border guards require male citizens of Ukraine of conscript age to present certificates from military commissariats at border crossing, is not true.

Under the current legislation, presentation of such cerificates for border crossing is not required.

The documents that give right of exit from and entry to Ukraine are passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad, travel document for a child, diplomatic passport, service passport, seaman’s ID.

During the check of the documents at exit from Ukraine, the presence or absence of grounds for temporary restrictions on the right of the citizen to travel abroad is also established.

The employee is suspected of obtaining undue advantage of 5 thousand hryvnias. from a Transcarpathian for assistance in resolving issues related to the sales of excisable products.Prosecutor’s office initiated criminal proceedings under Part. 3. ofArt. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – obtaining undue advantage by an official related to extortion.

Relevant article provides for punishment by imprisonment for a term of five to ten years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage into certain activities for up to three years with confiscation of property and with a special forfeiture.

In Uzhhorod, they want to spend 602 thousand hryvnias for camcorders

Uzhgorod Executive Commitee developed a Program of surveillance system implementation which will be considered at the meeting of the Executive Committee tomorrow, February 4.

The document refers to the installation of video cameras in public places – wrote ProZahid.
To purchase these cameras it is proposed to find 602 thousand hryvnias in the budget of Uzhgorod.

Family members of ATO participants will receive assistance from the regional budget

About 15 million hryvnias is to be allocated for the implementation of regional program “Turbota” (Care). The program should provide assistance to the families of Transcarpathian soldiers killed in the ATO area.

The amount of payment will be 100 thousand hryvnias – as it was last year.

Also, it is planned to allocate funds in the regional budget for ATO participants and soldiers who injured in the fighting.

Last year, these amounts were 2 and 5 thousand hryvnias respectively.

This was announced at a meeting with the heads of cities and districts councils with the Regional Council Chairman Volodymyr Chubirko.

According to the Head of the Council, they plan to provide families of ATO members with preferential loans for the construction or reconstruction of private housing within the regional program “Own House”.

Another initiative of the Council Head, with which he appealed to the heads of local governments, to make a decision on food provision at schools and kindergartens for children from ATO members families.

Transcarpathian participants of the ATO will undergo rehabilitation at the regional hospital

According to the department of health care of the Transcarpathian Regional Administration, 2 five-bed rooms (i.e. 10 persons per month) in the regional hospital for disabled veterans and liquidators of the Chernobyl accident are assigned for the rehabilitation of mentally damaged soldiers and to provide psychological and psychiatric help to participants of the ATO.

The necessary care will be provided by psychologists, doctors, therapists and psychiatrists who work in health care institutions.

In addition, if necessary, soldiers will receive military drug coverage, therapeutic exercise and massage.
