Andriy Stryzhak has written a statement of withdrawal from the Party of Regions faction in the Transcarpathian Regional Council. He never was a member of the actual party.
Opposition parties “Batkivshchyna” and “Svoboda” and the public of Mukachevo demand to deprive the former Defense Minister of Ukraine, now a People’s Deputy of Ukraine, a member of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Kuzmuk of the “Honorary Citizen of Mukachevo” title. The relevant appeal is registered in Mukachevo City Council.

Tomorrow, February 4, at 16.00, in the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum, there will be the opening of an exhibition “Artists of the Transcarpathian Gutsul Land” where artists from Rakhiv district will present their works. At the exhibition, they will also present the eponymously-named book, which features information about the life and work of 37 artists from the Carpathian land. They are different in style and philosophy, style of painting, creative method, but united by a sacred worship of their native land, dramatic vision of the world and life, love of art.
The parliamentary group “People’s Council of Transcarpathia” has been established in the regional council. The group includes all the members of the regional council – representatives of factions “United Center”, “Batkivshchyna” and “Front of Changes.” The negotiations to include the parliamentary faction “KMKS” to the interfactional association are ongoing.
The offenders, including a 41-year-old woman, were involved in the illegal importation into Ukraine from Hungary and sale of opium.
January 31, 2014, there was a session of Mizhhirya district council. The session began with a moment of silence for the protesters killed in Kyiv, then Greek Catholic priest, Father Vasyl Mandzyuk held a memorial service.
Recall, at today’s meeting of Uzhgorod City Council, it was decided to establish the People’s Council of Uzhgorod (PCU) as a deputies’ association.
February 5, at the SC “Yunist” in Uzhgorod, there will be the opening of the Regional Philatelic Exhibition “Zakarpatolimfil – 2014” devoted to the Winter Olympics in Sochi. The exhibition, which runs until February 9, is organized by the Transcarpathian Regional Philatelic Society named after F. Fekete and Transcarpathian management of the “Ukrposhta.”
During the event, on February 5, there will be the grand cancelation of the unmarked envelope “Regional Philatelic Exhibition “Zakarpatolimfil – 2014” with participation of the leaders of the region, philatelists. The exact time is not yet known, so it will be announced later.
Last weekend, at the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, border guards of the Chop detachment detained another “seeker of European happiness.”
Members of the Regional Council adopted the regional budget for 2014. This year, it was approved two weeks after the adoption of the main financial document of the country, as stipulated in the Budget Code.
