From April 3 to 9, Budapest Operetta Theatre will be touring with the Emmerich Kalman operetta “Silva” (“Queen of Heart on Fire”) in 4 cities of Western Ukraine – Uzhgorod, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi. Today, March 29, “Karpaty” started the match with the only rival in the women’s handball championship of Ukraine, who can compete with the Uzhgorod team in the fight for the championship. Before the current round, the Lviv team were only one point behind the leader of the championship, although having played two games more. That is, by lost points “Karpaty” were ahead by 5 points.

The mayor says – they will consult with the police and seek a middle ground, a legally competent way out. Instead, the deputies distributed at the session the remaining money and subvention from the regional budget – allocated them for medicine.

Khust Interdistrict Prosecutor’s Office received official information from Beregovo regional psychiatric hospital that Pavlo Nahirny had been discharged from hospital. According to the information provided by doctors to prosecutors, Nahirny’s health has significantly improved.

Today, March 29, members of the city council voted to exclude from the executive committee the First Deputy Chairman of Uzhgorod City Executive Committee – the venerable veteran Fedir Vovkanych, head of the USPP Margarita Moschak, member of the “Batkivshchyna” party Oleksandr Volosyansky, medic Nadiya Kholodnyak.

The deputy Vasyl Hnatkiv initiated the consideration of the draft decision, which proposed to abolish the increase of bus fares in Uzhgorod.

Today, March 29, at the session of Uzhgorod City Council the deputies considered wheather to demolish the scandalous building, erected right next to the high rise on Belinsky street in Uzhgorod.
