Yesterday evening, in Vynogradiv, on Kopanska street an accident happened – a 37-year-old entrepreneur driving a “Volkswagen Tiguan” hit a 68-year-old cyclist. The pensioner died from his injuries at the scene. The car was delivered to the Vynogradiv District Police impound lot.
Today, in the village of Zarichovo in Perechyn district a 64-year-old pensioner was killed. The police found out that during the conflict that had occurred between the husband and the wife, who were intoxicated, the latter took an ax and struck her husband several blows at the head. The man died at the scene. The woman was arrested, she is held in a temporary detention facility.
Yesterday, three children aged seven, one and six years were brought to the admissions department of Volovets district hospital. They had been rescued from a fire by MOE officers. The fire occured in their one-story house due to a wiring short circuit. The children were at home without adult supervision. Now they are hospitalized in the children’s department, their lives and health are not endangered.
