1.3 million residents of Transcarpathia and other western regions watch boxing matches with the participation of Ukrainian sportsmen

1.3 million residents of Transcarpathia and other western regions of Ukraine like to watch broadcasting of boxing matches with the participation of Ukrainian athletes. According to the study conducted by the analytical department of the "Inter" TV channel, about 16% of the population of Volyn, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Rivne, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky and Chernivtsi regions watch boxing matches on TV. The second largest number of viewers of boxing matches is in the center of Ukraine (15.3%), followed by the North (13.6%), South (10.8%) and Eastern (10.5%) regions.

The primary audience of TV broadcasting of boxing are men, their share reaches 56%. The most active supporters among men are aged 45-64 years (38%), among women – 25-54 years (46%).

The greatest interest among inhabitants of Transcarpathia and other western regions was caused by the match of Wladimir Klitschko with Alex Leapai. The second highest number of spectators was attracted by fights of the Crimean Oleksandr Usyk (against Ben Nsafoa and Cesar David Krensa), the third – the fight of Vyacheslav Uzelkov from Vinnytsia (against Geard Ayetovich). It is worth noting that was the match of Vyacheslav Uzelkov was on the second place among women of the western regions.
