Because of customs value underreporting, the budget lost over 700,000 UAH

A company, that delivered the goods through Chop customs with understatement of customs value, failed to pay to the state budget over 700,000 UAH.

Currently, the pre-trial investigation into the tax evasion in significant amounts conducted by the investigation department of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region continues. It is about over 700,000 UAH – this amount was not paid to the state budget because of willful tax evasion.

As previously revealed, in January-February officers of a limited liability company six times imported goods (furniture) into the territory of Ukraine through the Chop Customs with the understatement of customs value – resulting in significant budget loss.

The said fact was revealed by the interagency group established by the Prosecutor of the Transcarpathian region. The group includes the heads of the departments of the regional prosecutor’s office and operational staff of the Security Service of Ukraine Office in the region.
