The delegation of the Czech Vysocina region has come to Transcarpathia

Guest from the partner region arrived to Transcarpathia on Tuesday. The delegation includes Zdenek Kadlec – the President of the Regional Government of Vysocina, Katerina Svobodova – the Head of the Hetman Office of the region, Joseph Nedved – a member of the Standing Conference and Vasyl Samandrula – a member of the Charity Club "Viza". Czechs are studying the projects to be implemented this year in cooperation with Transcarpathia. The delegation was accompanied by the administrator of the executive office of the Regional Council Mykhailo Popovich, the chairman of Irshava District Council Ivan Savko and the deputy chairman of Khust District Council Pavlo Hvozdyansky.  

         On Tuesday, the delegation visited Vynogradiv school №8, where they implement the project to replace windows and doors. The delegation also visited Velyka Kopania. Here, the reconstruction of the kindergarten №2 is ongoing.

    On Wednesday morning, the Czech delegation visited the city of Khust and the district. In the city kindergarten №8 "Yalynochka", they plan to renovate the institution. For this project, the funds were allocated from the regional and municipal budgets, and Parbudice region of the Czech Republic. Then, guests made their way to Danylovo school.  The facility was built forty years ago, there is a need to replace the windows and heating system. Last year it was decided to include the institution to the list of joint projects implemented with the "Viza" fund. Regional and district budget also helps with funding. Now, they are replacing windows and doors with energy-saving ones. Most of the work has been completed.

         In the village of Potochok, they examined the elementary school-kindergarten. In previous years, they replaced the roof and the heating system in the institution. Now here, there is a need to repair the premises – replace windows, renovate the building. This facility is proposed to be included in the list of projects to be realized at the joint expense already in 2015.

Next, the working group visited Velyky Rakovets village council in Irshava district. They inspected five local pre-schools. The village head Andriy Khuda said that now they are performing major repairs in the kindergarten №3 with the support of the Regional Council and Vysocina region. They are updating the electrical system, installing a heating system, repairing facilities. After completion of the work, the kindergarten will save nearly 40% of the funds on heating.

In the largest settlement of the district – Ilnytsia – Czechs inspected the progress of repairs and facade insulation at the kindergarten №1. According to the village head, Victor Symkanynets, 167 children are enrolled in this kindergaten. Here, with the help of Czech partners from Vysocina, last year, they replaced windows with energy-saving plastic ones.       In another village of the district – Dorobratovo – they plan to replace windows and doors in the kindergarten. The work started in August.

The head of the Vysocina regional government Zdenek Kadlec noted that Transcarpathia traditionally implements joint projects on a high level. "Most of the target has already been completed. Where there are difficulties, we find solutions to problems. No doubt that our cooperation gives good results for the community Transcarpathia" – the Czech official said.
