Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department of Uzhgorod Police caught a local resident who was walking around the streets with a military bayonet-knife.
In the morning, Uzhgorod city police received a report that near a boiler room on Tykha street, an unknown man was carrying an object similar to a military bayonet-knife.
The investigative team and officers of the Criminal Investigation Department arrived at the scene. The police found the man with a knife nearby. It was a 33-year-old resident of Uzhgorod. The man explained that he had found the knife and had been keeping it at home, and when he needed money, he decided to sell it, and therefore he was carrying it. The knife was seized and sent to the Scientific and Research Forensic Center at the regional MIA Office for examination.
This incident is registered in the Journal of uniform registration of statements and reports on committed criminal offenses and other incidents of Uzhgorod city police. Currently, officers of the city police department are checking this fact.
