On Sunday, August 17, Beregovo said last farewell to the soldier Mykhailo Tymoshchuk killed in the ATO zone, after announcing days of mourning.
Everyone could pay tribute to the hero in the city’s House of Culture. There, the service was conducted by the Greek Catholic rite in Ukrainian and Hungarian. After that, a funeral procession went to the cemetery. All the way to the cemetery was covered with rose petals and bouquets…
August 14, Beregovo military commissariat received the official news of the death of a soldier from Beregovo Mykhailo Tymoshchuk.
The tragedy occurred on August 13 – the birthday of the soldier. Senior mechanic-driver of the military unit A1556 was killed during a combat mission in the ATO area when their group was shelled by illegal armed groups. The soldier was born in 1987, he had just turned 27 years old.
