Today in Uzhgorod, yet another Hero of Ukraine was buried. Captain Vasyl Baloh died on July 30 in the ATO area near Luhansk as a result of a mortar attack.
The officer, a native of Transcarpathia (born in the village of V. Luchky in Mukachevo district) served in the 128th mountain infantry brigade, the military unit of which is located in Uzhgorod. Many soldiers came to the funeral. And valiant men in uniforms could not restrain tears. The grief of the wife is beyond words.
By the way, Uzhgorod residents came to the Hill of Glory, where the Hero was buried after a mourning procession, to pay homage to the deceased.
Vasyl Baloh was buried near the Transcarpathian heroes who died in the East – Oleksandr Popadynets, Serhiy Martin and Dmytro Georgiev.
People can not hold tears when speaking about Vasyl Baloh: a wonderful man, a real officer.
We believe that the native land will always remember about its son, who died for Ukraine, for all of us…
