On the night of June 18, near the village of Shchastya, there was a fight between antiterrorist operation forces and militants.

According to the Ministry of Defence, as of 5 am Wednesday, antiterrorist operation forces suffered losses in Luhansk region.

This information was provided to ZN.UA by a senior source at the Ministry of Defence.

In particular, during the night battle near the village of Shchastya 11 soldiers from the 128th infantry-mountain brigade (Mukachevo) and the 80th airmobile regiment (Lviv) were killed.

In the 24th battalion of territorial defense, four soldiers were killed.

In addition, in the 128th infantry-mountain brigade two soldiers were wounded, in the 80th airmobile regiment – three, in the 24th battalion of territorial defense – four.

The fate of another 13 soldiers from the ATO unit is unknown.

Recall, the President Poroshenko on June 18 said that Ukrainian soldiers would unilaterally cease fire in the east in order to give members of illegal armed groups chance to disarm, and those, who want, to leave the country.
