Taxes, duties, customs fees and Single Contribution in Transcarpathia amounted to more than 2.5 billion hryvnia

Taxpayers of Transcarpathian region have paid to the state treasury more than 2 billion 506 million hryvnia of taxes, customs duties and single social contribution for mandatory state insurance. This amount of money has been collected during the five months of 2014 by the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region and the Chop customs. Local budgets of the region received 507.7 million hryvnia. This is the result of payment of local taxes and fees, between January and May 2014.

– Now, the tax system is being reformed. The business environment is a guarantee of stability and economic growth of the state. We are open to constructive dialogue, we can work together on legislative and systemic changes that will promote enterprise development in Transcarpathia and revenues to the state budget – Oleksiy Petrichenko, the Acting Head of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region said.

According to him, one of the most important initiatives of the income and taxes authority is the tax compromise mechanism, which is being developed now by the Ministry of Income together with the Ministry of Finance and other agencies. – Today we want to give businesses the opportunity to work in new ways. The main effect of this initiative is, primarily, protection of business, – the head of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income said.
