The highest inflation in the country is in Transcarpathia

According to the State Statistics Committee in February in Transcarpathia the highest inflation rate in the country was recorded – 0.1%. Meanwhile, in the last month of winter, a deflation was recorded throughout the country – prices fell by 0.1%.  

In February, prices for housing in the region increased, for water – by 0.6%, for alcohol and cigarettes – by 0.5%. Services in the health sector in Transcarpathia rose by 0.4%. In February, prices for housewares in Transcarpathia fell by 0.3% and for clothing – by 0.2%.
