Dear dependents … A Transcarpathian official costs 37,000 a year

Almost 82 million hryvnias was spent last year on maintenance of Transcarpathian officials. This is stated in the report of the state budget funds spending for the maintenance of local administrations of Transcarpathian region for 2012.

In total, last year in the region 2182 officials were working in 191 institutions. For the maintenance of one official the government allocated 37,500 UAH per year. In return for this, officials performed the following work: processed 62,000 letters, held nearly 5,000 seminars. 

Also, officials added to the state treasury 1.356 million hryvnias as payments for services provided by government institutions.
