Zoltan Mychka street will appear in Mukachevo

Today, the deputies of the city council adopted a decision on renaming of the city’s streets.

Having considered the proposals of the commission on the preservation of the historical heritage, naming and renaming of streets, installation of memorial signs in the city of Mukachevo at the executive committee dd. August 17, taking into account the minutes of public hearings dd. October 22, it was decided to rename Borkanyuk street in the city of Mukachevo to Mychka street.

Reference: Zoltan Fedorovich Mychka (August 24, 1949 – March 20, 2017) was a painter, born in Mukachevo.

Honorary citizen of Mukachevo. People’s Artist of Ukraine. Academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine. A member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. The winner of the Regional Y.Bokshay and A.Erdelyi prize in the field of art.
