The water in Transcarpathia receded only for a few hours and rescuers managed to pump out the water from all 250 flooded households. Yesterday, late in the evening new information about new flooding was received.
The Stara river overflowed its banks in the low spot near the highway "Kyiv-Chop" and flooded 4 households in the village of Znyatsevo in Mukachevo district and the local road that leads to the village of Chabanivka. Specialists of the Water Service immediately decided to deploy two powerful mobile pumping stations to stop flooding. The installation and commissioning of the stations took more than an hour, but they promised to pump out the water by morning.
