Zarichchya village head will be tried for a bribe

   Prosecutor’s office of the region have already completed an investigation and forwarded to the Perechyn District Court a criminal case on charges of Zarichchya village head in the bribe in large amount (Part 3 of Art.368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to ten years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years and forfeiture of property). 
In June 2012 Zarichchya village head received from a Transcarpathian a bribe in the amount of EUR 300 for assistance, with the use of his official position, in making the decision to grant lease of public property and concluding the appropriate agreement – reported the Press Service of the Prosecutor of the Transcarpathian region.
